APPLICATION
Approach Angle 93º

Boring

The compact STUBR boring bars use the three 60 º corners of small TB_0601_ inserts mounted at 93º to the axis of the lathe. Their shape allows straight boring to a shoulder with very small start bores. These boring bars can generally work with overhangs of up to 5 times the boring bar diameter without the tool starting to vibrate.

Mainly used for finishing with positive rake TBGT060102 inserts (Our Item no. K12)
